The Tu Canna 420 Foundation was formed by Sol and Michael Minardi to give back to the community and help those in need. With the current pandemic, now more than ever our seniors are extremely vulnerable and in need of the most basic necessities.
Our senior population is under attack form this pandemic, stuck in their homes and without the means to shop, get supplies, and be able to live with the bare minimums during this time. We are working with a large senior housing community that has buildings in the Hillsborough and Pinellas County areas. These are mixed communities with a high Spanish population. There are approximately 14 buildings with over 1,500 seniors in need of assistance.
We are asking for you to join us today to help with the following needs.
First and foremost, we want to bring these communities a hot meal over the next month. We will spend one day providing food to each building and feed over 1,500 seniors in two weeks.
Second, they need supplies. We want to provide them toilet paper, water, bread, powdered milk and other essentials that they need to survive when they cannot leave their homes.
Third, we will provide them hope and faith that there is someone there for them, keeping them safe and making sure their basic needs are met.
The Tu Canna 420 Foundation is your segue between a new community of potential patients and helping those in need during this pandemic.
We are asking that you give what you can to make this happen now. Our goal is to start feeding and providing the essentials to these communities on March 30th and continue until this crisis is over. We will be sharing your logo and information for the residents, and will include a description of your donation, along with the supplies we receive for the residents. At the same time, we will be collecting contact information to communicate with them in the future about Tu Canna and its partners.
Our goal to feed and help these seniors from now till the end of the pandemic is $50,000.00 per month.
