What benefits do you see for patients throughout Florida within this space?

We are incredibly fortunate to be able to offer Florida patients a natural alternative to pharmaceuticals. Patients who have not been able to find the relief they are seeking from these more traditional medicines or who were left with terrible side effects are now turning to cannabis, a natural plant grown and harvested from nature for thousands of years.

Now, the options have expanded for MÜV Patients from combusting whole flower to include 1:1, THC- or CBD-only formulation in routes that include oral, traditional topicals, and even transdermal topicals. All MÜV Products undergo rigorous testing both in-house along the plant’s life cycle and at third-party labs per state guidelines, allowing for safe access to medication Florida patients can trust.

In my role as Sales Manager, I have the opportunity to visit doctor’s offices and to participate in local patient-focused events. With each visit and event, it is evident that the cannabis plant has brought relief to many people throughout the state for a variety of different ailments. In particular, there is a tremendous opportunity and need for solving the problem of pain relief for Florida residents. I am excited for the positive direction the cannabis industry is headed, and the solution this natural medicine is providing to the growing pain management problem.

The truly amazing thing about the cannabis plant is that pain relief is not its sole benefit. Our patients have reported positive results when seeking relief for symptoms associated with anxiety, insomnia, PTSD, and chronic pain to name a few, all of which have grown in numbers due to the rise of COVID-19.

What motivates you to be a part of the cannabis Industry?

The use and therapeutic effects of cannabis have personally been a positive factor in my life.

My mom has been my number one motivator. She was diagnosed with cancer and, during the hard rounds of chemotherapy, turned to cannabis for relief. I witnessed first-hand the positive impact cannabis had on her treatment.

My motivation has grown tenfold after seeing and hearing patient testimonies. When a patient comes to me and tells me that their child with autism who was nonverbal has suddenly become verbal, now has friends, and does well in school all because of cannabis. When I hear that a loved one suffers from insomnia and that cannabis has made them sleep better, feel better, and improve their overall daily living. These are the motivations.

For my mother and every other patient in the state, I put everything I have into spreading the positive impact of the cannabis plant because I truly believe in it and the medicinal benefits it can bring to Florida patients.

What field are you in within the cannabis space?

I am the Regional Sales Manager for MÜV covering the southeast region, a territory stretching from Fort Pierce, FL down to Key West, FL.

How can people in Florida benefit from the company you represent?

By applying the same research and standards as our patented EnCaps™ encapsulation technology used in the 72-hour Transdermal Patch, the possibilities and our determination to provide solutions for our clients are endless.

How did you get started within the cannabis industry?

My initial introduction into the cannabis industry began on the patient side when my mom received her cancer diagnosis. Seeing what she went through and the struggles she dealt with when trying to find relief truly motivated me to become part of something bigger in the cannabis space. After then seeing the positive effects it had on other patient’s lives, not limited to a cancer-treatment aid, I knew I had to follow my passion to spread the word about and provide access to this natural alternative that is helping a multitude of Floridians find a better way of life.

Are you personally a MJ card holder?

Yes, I am.

Do you see Florida moving forward with recreational Marijuana/cannabis and how will that affect your business?

I am not aware of any specific initiative in Florida that would allow adult use cannabis in the near future. But, since more than half of all states have some form of cannabis program now, most experts forecast adult use is inevitable eventually and recent polls show more than half of all voters support it.

We believe our high standards in product development, consistency and safety along with our education and service model that we have used for years in medical cannabis markets will be equally valued by adult use customers.
