What benefits do you see for patients throughout Florida within this space?
I believe cannabis offers tremendous health benefits for a variety of medical conditions and beyond. I don’t think we have even scratched the surface on the full capabilities of this plant. I have witnessed many of these benefits firsthand and believe cannabis is a safer alternative to many traditional forms of health care management. Florida patients will benefit as product variety continues to expand across the state so that patients may find the right product to meet their needs.
What motivates you to be a part of the cannabis Industry?
I have seen cannabis transform the lives of many people looking to take control of their health and wellness, for me specifically it started with my husband. He is a Veteran and like many Veterans had been prescribed numerous pills and medications to treat his medical conditions. These medications had profound negative side effects on his health and life and was unbearable to watch. We started educating ourselves on cannabis and the various methods available and learned what worked and what didn’t. He was able to get off multiple medications which changed our lives. Once medical marijuana became available in Florida, I was determined to get involved in the industry to help change the conversation and stigma surrounding the plant and its use.
What field are you in within the cannabis space?
I am the Director of Retail for One Plant and oversee retail operations, customer service and delivery.

How did you get started within the cannabis industry?
I have a background in retail, sales, and developing high performance teams. I am passionate about helping others and I wanted to bring my experience to the cannabis industry here in Florida to create a team and an environment where patients can have a remarkable experience with knowledgeable staff.

Yes, I am.
Do you see Florida moving forward with recreational Marijuana/cannabis and how will that affect your business?
Yes, absolutely! I have seen a shift over the past couple of years and I think as we continue to spread awareness on the benefits of cannabis we will get to a point where we see recreational cannabis here in Florida. When it happens, we will be ready to meet the demand of customer’s needs.
