Bhang products will soon be available to Florida’s more than 150,000 medical cannabis patients, pending regulatory approval by the Office of Medical Marijuana Use
MIAMI, Sept. 05, 2018 — Florida’s medical cannabis patients will soon be able to access some of the world’s most awarded cannabis products thanks to a partnership between Bhang and Trulieve.

The agreement will bring Bhang’s extensive line of edible cannabis-infused products to Trulieve, Florida’s preeminent medical cannabis provider. Once the products receive approval from the Florida Department of Health’s Office of Medical Marijuana Use, Bhang will be available exclusively at Trulieve. Presently, there can be no assurance as to the timing and scope of such regulatory approval, when and if it is obtained.

This agreement is part of Bhang’s continued worldwide expansion. According to a report from BDS Analytics and The Arcview Group, Florida’s medical cannabis market is expected to grow rapidly and exceed $1 billion by 2020. With a population of 21 million, 19 percent of whom are seniors, Florida is on track to have hundreds of thousands of medical marijuana patients. The burgeoning system currently has more than 150,000 registered patients and 1,650 registered physicians, with those numbers expected to almost triple by 2020.
