Americanna Laboratories, LLC is operating in unprecedented times, not only for our organization and community, but for the entire world. Everyday we see news reports of the continued spread of COVID-19 across the United States of America, and especially in areas where family and friends live and operate. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the heroes on the front line of the coronavirus pandemic; especially first responders and healthcare workers. My wife is a registered nurse and I’ve seen firsthand the thankless job these amazing professionals endure. The time will come when we all have the opportunity to show our appreciation for their gearing up for battle.
Recently, President Donald Trump expressed the following to Americans: “If you work in a critical infrastructure industry, as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, such as healthcare services and pharmaceutical and food supply, you have a special responsibility to maintain your normal work schedule.”
Americanna heeds the call; therefore, our lab is OPEN FOR BUSINESS and operating at full capacity.
At Americanna, we are mindful of the important role we play in the supply chain, providing ease of mind to millions of medicinal cannabis and CBD consumers, that their products are safe and accurately labeled. It is imperative that testing laboratories continue to support the industry with the same high level of quality and scientific accuracy consumers expect and deserve. Our laboratories support other industries as well; providing FDA quality control testing to pharmaceutical and food supply companies, and analytical data the EPA uses for critical products used in the food supply chain. Our mission remains the same, consumers are our #1 priority!
To ensure the safety of our team, we follow all CDC recommendations such as washing/sanitizing hands often, maintaining physical distancing in the lab, wiping down shared spaces throughout the day and proper utilization of gloves and masks when necessary. Additional work safe protocols are in place such as enforcing self-quarantine for anyone feeling ill, a mandatory health screen before entering the facility, allowing team members to work remotely if they can, and supporting team members with at risk family members to stay home.
